According to legend, to protect ancient Vietnam’s border from invaders, Mother Dragon and Child Dragon were sent to help Vietnamese people against the enemy. These dragons sprayed a large number of pearls turning into thousands of limestone. It became a solid wall that the invaders could not overcome. Because of that Mother Dragon and Child Dragon loved spectacular landscapes and appreciate the hospitality of Vietnamese people, the decision to stay there instead of coming back to heaven.
