Ha Giang is the homeland of some ethnic groups with unique cultural elements as well as lifestyle. There are 14 ethnic groups living in Dong Van District. Dong Van has beautiful nature. The landscape is stunning and great.
Dong Van has some special historical sites to be visited. Meo Vac is another district of Ha Giang Province, sharing Chinese border.
Ma Pi Leng Pass is one of the most beautiful and famous tourism elements of Meo Vac.
Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi – Ha Giang
6.30 am: Car and guide pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi depart for Ha Giang city on a limousine bus.
13.00 pm: Have lunch and check in homestay/hostel in Ha Giang city.
15.00 pm: Car and guide take you to visit Tay’s village and swimming in a fresh stream.
17.30 pm: Get back to homestay/hostel, have dinner and overnight here.
Day 2: Ha Giang – Heaven Pass – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Dong Van
7.00 pm: Have breakfast at homestay then departure for Yen Minh town. On the way, you are introduced to Quan Ba Heaven Gate and stop at the Quan Ba stop to view Breasts Mountain.
12.00 pm: Arrived in Yen Minh and have lunch.
13.00 pm: Departure for Dong Van town, along the way you admire the wonderful scenery of the trip to Dong Van karst plateau, visit Sung La village – which is used as a filming scene “story of Pao”; visit the Meo King palace, Lung Cu Flagstaff – highest latitude of Vietnam.
17.00 pm: Arrived in Dong Van town, check in hotel, have dinner and free to explore the Dong Van old town.
Day 3: Dong Van – Meo Vac – Lung Khuy Cave – Ha Giang
Free time to visit the Dong Van market in the early morning and have breakfast.
8.00 am: Departure for Meo Vac town. On the road, you will cross the Ma Pi Leng Pass – called Happy road. Admire the majestic beauty landscape of the Ma Pi Leng canyon 800m deep and the Nho Que River below.
12.00 pm: Back in Yen Minh town and have lunch and departure for Lung Khuy cave which is the most beautiful cave in Ha Giang rock plateau.
13.30 pm: Trekking to explore the Lung Khuy cave before getting back to Ha Giang.
15.30 pm: Back in homestay/hostel in Ha Giang city. Fresh up and get on the limousine bus to Hanoi.
22.00 pm: Arrive in Hanoi. The trip end, see you again.
