Mai Chau Full Day Tour

Mai Chau 1 Day Tour is designed for those who are short of time. Located in Hoa Binh province, 150km from Hanoi, it takes about 3 hours and a half to reach Mai Chau by bus. Recently, Mai Chau has become a favorite destination for tourists because of its climate, beauty and unique character. Mai Chau has cool climate around the year with average degrees between 19 – 25o‑C. Mai Chau is a big valley with several mountainous villages, such as Ban Lac, Ban Van, Poom Cong, etc.

Ban Lac village is a famous village of Mai Chau – residence place of the Thai people. In the village, there are 25 traditional houses on stilts, also used as homestays for tourists. Coming here, you will have a chance to learn about how the Thai people make their brocade products.

Pom Coong village is another beautiful village where 64 houses on stilts used for tourism purpose.

Hang Chieu cave is a beautiful cave in Mai Chau. To reach the cave, you need hike 1,200 stone steps. From the peak, you will have an overview of Mai Chau. The cave has 150m long with 02 levels.

Itinerary

7.30 – 8.00 am: Pick up at your hotel in our comfortable car.

10.00 am: Short break

11.30 – 12.00 pm: Scenic photo stop of Mai Chau valley/arrive in Mai Chau.

12.15 pm: Traditional lunch in the local village (vegetarian available).

13.00 pm: Bicycle ride with the local tour guide, see farmers working in fields, locals weaving scarves and visit surrounding peaceful villages.

15.00 pm: Leave Mai Chau for Hanoi.

18.30 – 19.00 pm: Drop you off at your hotel. Mai Chau 1 Day Tour.
