Perfume Pagoda (also called 'Chua Huong') is the name of Buddhist shrines & pagodas located in Huong Son Commune, My Duc District, Hanoi. Perfume Pagoda is built into the karst cliffs of Huong Tich Pagoda. The complex has several sub-pagodas called Thien Tru Pagoda, Giai Oan Pagoda, Trinh Pagoda, etc. Each every year, there is a long and festive festival held at Perfume Pagoda for the local people from Feb to Apr. The landscape around Perfume Pagoda is amazing - one of the most beautiful places in Vietnam.
Itinerary
7.45 - 8.30 am: Pick up from your hotel to Perfume Pagoda about 75km from Hanoi. It takes about 1 hour 45 minutes to reach Perfume Pagoda.
10.30 am: Arrive Yen wharf get on the boat to Perfume Pagoda.
11.15 am: Going up to Huong Son mountain about 2 km to visit Huong Tich Grotto
Going up to Huong Son mountain then visiting Huong Tich Grotto. (Those who love hiking can hiking up instead of using cable car). Huong Tich Grotto looks like a dragon keeping a gem in its mouth. A sentence is seen on the wall of the grotto written in Chinese characters (in 1770): "Nam Thien De Nhat Dong" - meaning "most beautiful grotto in Vietnam".
12.30 pm: Have Lunch at the restaurant.
13.30 pm: Visiting Thien Tru Pagoda.
14:00 pm: Get on Boat back to Yen wharf.
15.00 pm: Get on the Bus back to Hanoi
18.00 pm: Arrive at Hanoi. Perfume Pagoda one day trip ended.
